I was promoted to shift leader, I did work my butt off though it didn't matter in the end, not a great position, very unorganized place, they hired and promoted stupid or lazy people, sometimes it's fast pace, the job itself isn't hard eventually you get the routine down but the work culture there is terrible. I realized what management is really like, they don't really care to help you unless they take a liking to you, there's no job security, coworkers are unprofessional, & unpleasant to work with, most of them are dumb, & uneducated, very high school mentality, cliques, a lot of favoritism, the turn over rate was pretty high at the store I worked in, it was ridiculous a revolving door. The pay isn't great for the amount of work that you do.
